Hey Ael! It's empy from FFN. I was feeling nostalgic tonight and poked around there, and ended up finding your LJ! Been a long time, how the heck have you been?

Been all right, I suppose. Got a job, going to college, my mom's got cancer and my grandma got married, so it's a bit of a mix. Not doing fanfic as much these days, although there is a little - it's mostly online RPs and playing (single player) videogames nowadays.
I'm finishing college this year (hooray). Really sorry to hear about your mom :/. I haven't written fan fiction in years either, the majority of my fandom is icons now hehe. You still in MI?
I am! Although given the horrible job market here, I may end up moving at some point. I'm actually considering Australia, it's that bad. :/ Their economy is going down the toilet too, but it's not as bad as ours here in the USA anyway.
I know the feeling about jobs or the lack thereof. :/ There certainly isn't anything in MN for my degree, that's for sure (but I'm fine with leaving here, lol).
I live in the state with the current highest unemployment rate, and if that wasn't bad enough, I live in the COUNTY with the worst unemployment rate of anywhere else in the state. We've also hemorrhaging people at the rate of thousands every month, at least, so clearly no one else here has a problem with leaving to find jobs either! It's incredibly sad that it's come to this though, because really, there's nowhere to GO. :/
